First up for the night was the self-described "five Brown boys from La Puente" band called Death Lens. The energy was high and ignited the crowd as they performed fan faves like "Bombshell" and "Disturb the Peace" and even brought out a guest vocalist during their set.

Concert attendee Kasey Spatz, from Long Beach, said her favorite moment from the concert was "During the song 'In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3' they performed a 12ish minute jam session to then sing 'Happy Birthday' and bring out a cake with candles for a tech whose birthday it was." Spatz continued "He blew out the candles and they jammed a little more before resuming the song and finishing it."
