Blue Haze rolled into Duke’s Bar & Grill in Riverside on August 1 with a set that blended classic rock with hints of blues, offering a reliable, crowd-pleasing performance that landed somewhere between polished bar band and nostalgia trip. The event was free. Those who came got exactly what Duke’s promises: casual vibes, good drinks, and good music.

The band delivered a tight performance, showing clear professionalism and love of music. Guitar work was clean and confident, the rhythm section locked in, and the bass was worth dancing to. Their sound was rooted in familiar territory, bluesy riffs and classic rock staples, even a little bit of '90s, with enough bounce to keep heads nodding.

Duke’s itself is a venue built for casual evenings. With its relaxed atmosphere and beer-and-burger crowd, it’s a place where live music functions well and feels personal. Blue Haze clearly understood that role and filled it well with cover songs from several famous rock and blues bands.

Ultimately, Blue Haze gave Riverside a professional and heartfelt performance that suited the venue and the vibe. The band members clearly love what they do, and based on the reactions, the audience loves it too.
