Derek Hough, featuring Hayley Hough, with an ensemble of talented dancers, performed a Symphony of Dance at the Fox Performing Arts Center on May 17. A packed out theater of fans of the Dancing with Stars performer enjoyed a night of high energy choreography featuring ballroom, tap, and salsa dancing.

Derek Hough, and his wife Hayley Hough, led a series of intense and high energy choreographies with an ensemble of impressively talented dancers. The Hough's, recently married in August of 2023, included a segment featuring the song Fall Into You which they had as the first dance of their wedding, and shared an intimate moment on the stage as they recreated that moment.

Derek Hough, known for his magnetic personality, and energetic style of performance made for a magical evening that brought the crowd into the show. Five volunteers were even brought up on stage and arranged according to height, the tallest being nearly equal in height to Derek Hough, and when he had danced around the stage a bit ran and leapfrogged all five volunteers.

Each segment of the performance featured a different style of dance, and with exceptional lighting and stage direction provided what felt like several different shows within the whole experience, most featuring the entire ensemble of impressive dancers.

Through dance, Hough provided a tribute to the "Kings and Queens" of Rock and Roll featuring Tina Turner, Ray Charles, and Chuck Berry. After which a solo guitar performance from one of the several live musicians providing the music for the evening.

The Hough's provided undeniable chemistry and energy which the crowd fed off of and throughout the night the ebb and flow between the performers and crowd was amazing.
