The cozy ambience of the Packinghouse Brewing Co. came alive on January 17th as The Maraschinos (@themaraschinos) took the stage and brought their thrilling energy for everybody to enjoy! With drinks in hand, delicious food, and infectious energy all over the patio, it was a very enjoyable night!
The Maraschinos made a bold entrance on stage, capturing everyone's attention with their vibrant red outfits that matched their cherry-themed aesthetic. The moment they started performing, their infectious charisma spread throughout the room, creating a lively atmosphere that had the crowd cheering.
Throughout their performance, The Maraschinos captivated their audience by sprinkling in covers of iconic songs from artists who have significantly influenced their music, such as Chappel Roan and One Direction. The crowd was swept away with their rendition of “What Makes You Beautiful” by One Direction and had the crowd singing and dancing along to the familiar song. The band kept the energy going by taking turns sharing their favorite members of One Direction.
Outside the venue, Grill Master Carlos Granillo of Big G’s BBQ (@big_gees_bbq) was serving up mouthwatering barbecue. The aroma of the cooked meats filled the air and had people coming back for more. I had a chance to try the burnt pork belly ends and they were absolutely delicious, making for a tasty break from the music.
As The Maraschinos’ performance was coming to an end, lead singer Kelly Bordley, announced that they were about to play their final song and asked everyone to repeat the words “I’m a star”. The crowd eagerly chanted “I’m a star! I’m a star! I’m a star”, transitioning into their song of the same name, leaving everybody feeling like a star in their own right.
Once they finished their set, the crowd’s excitement did not go anywhere as they demanded an encore! The Maraschinos obliged and played a cover of “Cherry Bomb” by the Runaways, along with some more original songs, ending the night on a high note! View more photos from the night on our Flickr page
