Last night, February 8, the walls of The Concert Lounge trembled with raw energy as local legends The Bellrays and rising rockers Emily and the Blackouts delivered electrifying performances. The intimate setting provided the perfect backdrop for a night of soul-infused, high-voltage rock that left the audience buzzing.

The evening kicked off with Emily and the Blackouts, fronted by the magnetic Emily Allen, affectionately known as the “Queen of Raunch.” With sultry energy and commanding presence, Allen and her bandmates ripped through a set packed with bluesy riffs, pounding drums, and vocal grit that evoked a time when rock was reckless and real. At one point, Kekaula reminded the audience, “This is a rock show—we need rock noises!” The crowd eagerly complied, filling the venue with raucous cheers.
