On May 20th, The Observatory in Santa Ana was filled with fans eager to see Lyn Lapid perform on her first stop in North America during the Buzzkill World Tour. The excitement was clear before the doors even opened, with a line wrapping around the venue. Supporting her on this stop was RC AVENUE.

RC AVENUE opened the night with their song “HOT SHOT,” immediately grabbing the crowd’s attention. He had the entire room lit up with phone flashlights waving in the air, creating a fun, glowing atmosphere. His performance kept the crowd energized and ready for Lyn’s set.

When Lyn finally stepped on stage, the cheers were instant. She opened with “Buttons,” and the audience stayed loud and excited from start to finish. Every song was met with singing, dancing, and nonstop enthusiasm. The music took center stage, and the connection between Lyn and her fans was strong throughout the night.

Before the show, Lyn made a post asking fans to attend the show dressed in red and the fans obliged, and the crowd was filled to the brim with various fashion statements all coming back to the color red. Halfway through the set, Lyn paused to reflect on her journey. Years ago, she performed at The Observatory as an opener, and returning as a headliner was a full-circle moment. The crowd responded with cheers, celebrating that milestone with her.

Later, she talked about her friendship with artist Grent Perez before jumping into their song “Room for You.” The crowd sang along from the first line. One of the most memorable moments came when she introduced “Poster Boy,” asking all the boys in the room to raise their hands before picking a fan named Alex. “You’re tonight’s Poster Boy,” she said, dedicating the song to him.

Her setlist included favorites like “Pick Your Brain,” “Death Wish,” “In My Mind,” and “I’ll Be Happy When.” Before closing, she brought a softer moment with a cover of “Love Like You” from the TV show Steven Universe, which had fans swaying and singing along. Lyn ended the night with her song “I’ll Be Happy When” sending the crowd off on a high note. The excitement never dipped from beginning to end!
