On November 15, the Riverside Municipal Auditorium (RMA) in Riverside, California hosted a night of rock music headlined by In The End, a Linkin Park tribute band, with support from Nuclearia and Budderside.
Nuclearia opened the show with a mix of heavy riffs and melodic breakdowns, blending modern rock with metal. Their set included standout performances of ‘Goodbye Julio,’ a new song, ‘Never Enough,’ and ‘Throat Locust,’ energizing the crowd and preparing them for the main act.
Budderside followed with a raw set full of energy and excited the crowd. Led by Patrick Stone, a former roadie for Motörhead who was signed to Lemmy Kilmister’s Motörhead Music label, the band brought a gritty edge and strong stage presence. Their performance featured songs like ‘A Thousand Teardrops,’ ‘Wide Awake,’ and they closed with ‘Voices,’ leaving a lasting impression on the audience, many of whom left as new fans of the band.
In The End delivered a performance that captured the energy of Linkin Park’s original shows. Playing the complete Papercuts album with renditions of hits like ‘In the End,’ ‘Numb,’ and ‘Crawling’ had the audience singing along. The lead singer’s voice connected with the crowd, paying tribute to Chester Bennington. During the set, the lead singer remarked, “I remember when we played up the road at The Concert Lounge for maybe 120 people. Now, we’re here at the RMA playing for hundreds. It’s all thanks to you, our fans, for making this possible.”
The concert was more than a night of music; it was a celebration of community and memories. In The End’s tribute was a reminder of Linkin Park’s lasting influence. Fans left the RMA energized, part of a night that honored rock’s spirit and the journey of a tribute band reaching new heights.
