Lil Tecca took over the Riverside Municipal Auditorium on October 17 to a sold-out crowd for Dopamine: The Experience, celebrating the release of his new album Dopamine. With support from FFAWTY and Hardrock it felt like more than just a concert, it felt like an exclusive moment built around the sound and vision of Dopamine.

The Dopamine Experience opened with FFAWTY, who immediately set the tone. His energy was nonstop, with pits already forming only minutes into his set. He had the crowd chanting his name and hyping up Lil Tecca before the headliner even stepped on stage.

Hardrock followed and kept the energy going strong, jumping straight into his set with full force. His performance had the crowd moving from start to finish, building on the energy FFAWTY started. Each track hit hard, and by the end of his set, the crowd was fully charged and ready for Lil Tecca to take over.

It was finally time for Lil Tecca to make his presence on stage. The lights went out, and a giant screen behind the stage lit up with the words “The Dopamine Experience,” inviting everyone into his world. The display froze on the Dopamine album graphic as Lil Tecca walked out to “On Your Own.” The crowd erupted, the floor shaking as fans jumped and sang along to every word of the opening song.

Throughout the set, Tecca ran through songs from Dopamine, including the singles Dark Thoughts and OWA OWA. The crowd especially came alive for OWA OWA, with its catchy sample from Video Killed the Radio Star echoing through the venue as everyone sang along.

As the night went on, Tecca turned up the nostalgia, performing hits from earlier in his career. When Ransom dropped, fans on the second floor were out of their seats, lighting up the room with phones in the air. After finishing, Tecca stepped offstage briefly, but the crowd wasn’t done yet. Chants for an encore filled the venue until he returned to perform 500lbs, closing the show on a high note as the crowd opened one last pit.

The Dopamine Experience in Riverside was a night that felt truly exclusive. From start to finish, Lil Tecca and his team held the crowd’s attention, delivering each song with energy and precision. Fans showed up in full force, singing along and fully immersing themselves in the performance. It was the kind of night you had to be there for.
